What do you think?

Lego photography.

I have to said that it is pretty cool. I think that no only for adults but specially for kids it is very interesting.

I will do the experiment and show it to my girls, to see what they think about it.

Shunga, Sex and Pleasure in Japanese Art

Shunga is a Japanese Term for Erotic Art, and it’s literal translation is “Pictures of Spring”, being Spring an euphenism for Sex. Very appropriate, now that is the end of Winter, and Spring is around the corner. Shunga is part of the ukiyo-e genre of woodblock prints and paintings common in the late 17th century.

The Britsh Museum had a beautiful exhibit, “Shunga, Sex and Pleasure in Japanese Art“, unfortunately it closed in January.

Art Battle!!

I think it is going to be interesting and Fun!!!

Art Battle is a live competitive painting event. 12 painters will create the best work they can within 20 minutes. As they work, the audience moves around the easels, allowing them an up-close view of the creative process. The medium used is acrylic paint and the tools allowed are brushes, palette knives or any other non-mechanical implements. At the end of the round, the audience votes for their favourite painting and can later place bids in a silent auction to take a painting home.
